This is just going to be a pain, especially in New York where there's tons of streets and such. You'd be taking your headphones off every 5 minutes probably! I wonder what he's thinking - who's going to take off their headset at every street corner? I don't know, but I'd guess in busy cities like New York, that's the only way many people get exercise - listening to music while walking/jogging/etc., unless they go to a gym.
